About Bernard Dishman

Bernard is married to Deb and together they have ministered with Christ for the Navigators for over 20 years. They met as students, have 4 lovely children and are based in Leicester where they enjoy being walked by their dog Sebby. Bernard's life was turned upside down when he met Christ during an industrial year of a Mathematics degree. Back in Leicester, he met the Navigators and their passion for modelling generational disciple making. Through the lives of people like Brian & Kath Blacklock, God built into Bernard the passion to know Christ personally, dig deeply into His Scriptures, be led by His Spirit and co-labour with Him to live and disciple among the lost. As a graduate Bernard spent 12 years working in IT as a developer, project manager and consultant. Together with his wife Deb they have ministered in their spare-time, part-time and since 2000, full time for Jesus among students, graduates, ballet dancers and their local community. Bernard is the UK National Student Leader and European Student Team Leader.
