European Summer Training Programme
We would love to invite you to our seventh Navigators’ ESTP this summer. The first eight instalments have been so encouraging that we would once again like to bring together Navigator staff and student leaders from all over Europe, for the purpose of growing in our vision – investing in the next generation of labourers.Tim Yearsley
ESTP will run from 14-21 August 2018, with group leaders arriving the Friday before (13 August).
We will be guests of the ETF (Evangelical Theology Faculty) in Leuven, Belgium.
Address: ETF, 3001 Leuven, Belgium
The European Summer Training Programme (ESTP) is a week of mind expanding, vision grasping, heart swelling, and hands-on learning. Students from Nav groups across Europe come together in Belgium to live and work together, meeting God personally and discovering His call to live as labourers next door to everywhere. It’s ideal for any students who want to understand the whys and hows of leading and living missionally among the secular generation. And did we mention how good the food is?
The programme includes personal bible study, large group meetings with worship and teaching, small groups to re ect and interact with each other, and exposure to top Navigator leaders from all over Europe. We will serve the ETF in the afternoon each day through practical work projects on the premises – Gardening, shelf-building, demolition, removals etc. All necessary tools and safety equipment provided. And there will be plenty of time to hang out, meet new people, make lasting friendships and explore the town.

The cost for the ESTP €125 plus the admin fee of £15 payable to the Navigators UK that must accompany the application.
The accommodation in the ETF consists of student dormitories, with shared bathroom facilities. The site has wifi, don’t worry.
We recommend personal follow up from the ESTP with your local Navigator Rep to discuss what you learned and keep you accountable to any goals or disciplines you may have set yourself at the end of the week.
Students on the programme need only bring their authentic selves ready to hear from God. There are practical work projects on the site so you will be expected to get your hands dirty. Leaders on the programme will also need the ability to lead small group discussions and work well as part of the leadership team.
Please note that the European Summer Training Programme is a ministry of the Navigators Europe.

Passport and Visas: All participants require a valid UK passport with at least 6 months remaining on it unless you are travelling from within the Schengen Zone.
I experienced it as good and challenging, as it was quite full but with good programme (as Meetings and Workshops). I liked the Opportunity to have a lot of conversations with different people and get to know them more.
ESTP was a fun experience! I really enjoyed the people, the food, the worship. Altogether, it was a very encouraging week for me. There were so many different people, but it was great to learn and process with them.
Totally awesome! Feel so blessed to have been there:-) The atmosphere of the Navs family I really appreciate. Being together on a mission is great. To hear and learn from the stories of others is an enrichment of my vision in general and my Navs experience in particular
