Praying for The Navigators
Isaiah 4:19-21, Isaiah 5:5, Micah 7:1,12 and Zechariah 8:23 (verses below) remain key
promises from the Lord to our work.
Please pray them for us and that there would be blessing on all the different
ministries we have in Britain -- Students, Church, International Missions,
International Student Ministry, Focus Ministries, Workplace Network, Communities
and within our Leadership Community.
(If you would like to receive regular prayer information about The UK Navigators
please complete the sign up form on the homepage.)
Ideas from these verses include:
- People coming to us
- The growth of our attractiveness in Christ
- Fruitfulness where there was barrenness
- Joy where there was sorrow
- Creation where there was desolation
- Growth and expansion
- A recognition that God is with us.
Isaiah 49:19-21
Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land laid waste, now you will be too
small for your people, and those who devoured you will be far away. The children
born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, ‘This place is too
small for us; give us more space to live in.’ Then you will say in your heart
‘Who bore me these?’ I was bereaved and barren; I was exiled and rejected.
Who brought these up? I was left all alone, but these - where have they come
from?
Isaiah 55:5
Surely
you will summon nations you know not, and nations that do not know you will
hasten to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has
endowed you with splendour.
Micah 7:11-12
The day for building your walls will come, the day for extending your boundaries. In
that day people will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, even from
Egypt to the Euphrates and from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
Zechariah 8:23
This is what the LORD Almighty says: "In those days ten men from all languages
and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let
us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’"
