Welcome to the West Quadrant!

If you find yourself in the West Midlands or the North West of England, there are currently a number of Navigator initiatives in the West for you to explore! We have student ministries at Birmingham and Aston University in the West Midlands and at the Manchester Universities further north.

During the summer, we’re involved in running the Manchester International Outreach for visiting international students.

Beyond that we have a community of recent graduates in Birmingham that meet to support one another and to help each other work out discipleship in the workplace. A number of Navigators are in active service in local churches with the desire to resource discipleship at the heart of church life.

I met the Navs as a non Christian but seeking Student Nurse back in 1974. Not only did I hear and begin to understand the gospel via Bible study and talks, I also received very loving and committed discipling from some godly women. I realised passing on your faith was worth investing in for life! I've had the privilege of working in many different contexts and locations. I currently live in Birmingham and am seeking to bring the gospel to my neighbours and encourage discipleship in those I mentor. Pippa Brown

Having been a Nav Rep for over 40 years, I have encountered many hidden and personal issues that impede 'would-be disciples' in their lives and discipleship. This is the area that I focus on, addressing brokenness, disfunction, fear, anxiety, stress and background issues. This is offered under the auspices of Protem, a Manchester based charity.
