New Navigators UK Brand20th January 2019
Often a brand can be reduced down to an organisations logo or colour scheme and yet it is much more.
Every interaction we have, both large and small, shapes and reflects who we are as Navigators and therefore it is of great importance that everything we do whether written, visual or digital consistently communicates what makes our mission unique. We are all brand ambassadors and my hope is that under our new unified brand we be better equipped to share our vision with the world.
This process has taken a number of months of conversations and planning to ensure we are moving in a direction which is beneficial to not only the organisation as a whole but also to individual ministries and you, the Reps.
The most noticable change will be to the logo. We have updated the font which we hope will make it more appealing to a wider demographic, while retaining the distinctive ‘two sails’. The sail has historic significance for the Navigators, but the imagery is even richer for us today. The sail represents forward movement, provided it is full of and powered by the wind, the breath, the pneuma of the Holy Spirit. The twin sails are featured to represent the life-on-life journeying we do with our disciples; aiming to support, come alongside and multiply them. The sail is our distinguishing mark, which is why we retained it in the new logo.
We are all in the business of developing spiritual generations of labourers, living and discipling among the lost, and we hope that our new unified brand will help communicate this.
