Me, My-selfie and I: How we became a culture of ego pagans

Learning Community
The rise and fall of the gospel of “being true to yourself”

Description

This Learning Community talk summarises the rise of narcissism, and reveals how our culture puts the self is at the centre of everything. Andrew Fellows unpacks the gospel of “being true to yourself” and its ramifications. Finally, he touches on the hope that Christians must live in now: the reality that Jesus is the centre of everything. This talk could be used for personal stimulation or to spark group discussion on how we respond to the worldview that has caused ‘the greatest identity crisis in history’.
