Me, My Selfie & I
Big Weekend 2015
What is our identity rooted in?
How much do I matter? Glynn outlines (and unpicks) the four most popular approaches to measuring our sense of worth. He contrasts Jesus’ sense of identity with the “X Factor culture” that we and the disciples have in common. This 2015 Big Weekend talk is appropriate for all.
Glynn Harrison was Professor and Head of Department of Psychiatry at the University of Bristol, where he was also a practising Consultant Psychiatrist. He now speaks widely on issues at the interface between Christian faith and psychology, neuroscience and psychiatry. In his book A Better Story, he questions the future of the traditional biblical teaching on sex and marriage.
