Rooted in Christ

Summer School 2014 | Part 1 of 5
What does it (not) mean to be deeply rooted in Christ?

Description

Why is it common to find leaders in Christian ministry who are not deeply rooted in Christ? Jason Curtis argues that we often let things other than Christ define what it means to be rooted in him. Focusing on Colossians 2:6-7 and Psalm 1, the discussion exposes the good things that threaten to take Jesus’ place in the Christian’s heart and community. This talk from Summer School 2014 could be used to inspire an individual, group or church to consider the question: Are you interested in the same things that interest Jesus?
