‘I am an Alongsider because I love to take part in Jesus bringing radical unity in the midst of diversity, one relationship at a time. I truly believe that these relationships, fuelled by His incomparable love in the mundaneness of the everyday, have the potential to change the world.’
I am currently working as the Glasgow Student Ministry Leader.

More about my work
In the Glasgow Navigators, the backbone of our student ministry are weekly small group bible studies. My first group consisted of a Scotsman, an Englishman, a Frenchman and myself, a young American lad. We were so different in many ways and yet after a year of meeting weekly to have dinner, study the Bible and pray for one another, we became like brothers. Where there was once extreme diversity, God brought radical unity through the power of His presence and His Word. Not only that, being united in Him, gave us the freedom to grow into even better versions of our unique selves.
The passage that best exemplifies my heart in this regard is in John 17, where Jesus prays that we, His people, would be given the glory of God the Father, so that we would be brought to complete unity. He prays that as a result of our unity, the world would come to know His incomparable love by experiencing Him at work in and through us. Wow, what an honour and a privilege...to be carriers of the glory and love of God for the benefit of the world!
This is the crux of my ministry heartbeat and what I hope and pray for all of the small groups in our student ministry, as well as for God's work in building His kingdom across the globe.

Becoming a partner
I would love to ask if you would like to join my partnership team, which encompasses a variety of elements including mutual prayer, encouragement and financial giving.
If the Lord leads you and has you in a position to give, anything - whether higher or lower, would be a blessing to us. Regular monthly giving is preferred, but one-off gifts are also an available option.
If you are not in a position to give financially, but would love to pray for us, please feel free join my WhatsApp prayer group:
I'd also always love to talk about any of this – no specifics are off the table, I'm open to any questions, hesitations, or suggestions.
In all of this, please know that I am thankful for you and pray that God would be with you in spirit, that you would be encouraged in your own walk of faith and that you would see His gracious hand in the everyday little things, as well as the bigger steps of faith that He has for you. May His peace reign in your heart!
