I became a Christian in university thanks to the faithful witness of friends and the work of the Spirit in my life. A year later I came across the Navigators where I found those who would nurture that faith from a very low knowledge base. The cohesive narrative of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation about God and Jesus and His saving grace for me and the whole world was overwhelming, but then seeing that God wanted me to be part of that plan in working in His harvest field was what captured my heart and sold me on disciplemaking.

And God has been faithful, leading me first to work with students, then churches and now in our local community alongside our church. My heart is to see people walk with God in the whole breadth of their life, for the length of life that God brings and to be sharing from life to life. This has now led me to Second Half Living and recognising that although the world around us might write off the usefulness of those who are in the Second Half of life, that is not God's perspective. There are unique issues we face at this time of life but also unique opportunities that God gives. Second Half Living aims to explore both the issues and the opportunities.
