I am a Trainee Rep working within the Glasgow Student Ministry Team, who has a heart to see student's lives changed through knowing Jesus deeply. I hope to see this lived out through small groups and one-to-one alongsider relationships.

More about my work

As a young student, I struggled with attending church my whole life while also feeling like a fraud for not having a relationship with God. When I came to University in Glasgow, it was a very unstable time for me, and it had the lifestyle had the chance to turn me away from God for good. However, through attending Navs events as a student, I seen what it meant to have an authentic faith and to be surrounded by people who consistently wanted to go deeper with God was but who also challenged me in walking a path honouring to God. This transformed my relationship with God, who I was and how I thought. I then felt called to come alongside other girl students to bring this truth and freedom that I, myself had experienced through knowing Jesus.

My heart beats for these students who come to University with expectations and pressures from the world, who are walking with weights attached to their backs at a time in their life where they have the opportunity will be molded and grow into adults. A verse that I feel encompasses this is John 4v13-14 ‘Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.’ My hope would be that students get to experience the fullness of this verse, what it means to never be thirsty and to walk a life reliant and trusting in God. We have an opportunity for this pressured generation, to point them to the one who takes those weights off their back and allows them to walk with joy and lightness as children of God.

Becoming a partner

I would love to invite you to consider partnering with me as I seek to live out this calling. There are 3 ways in which people can partner with me which you’ll see below!

Firstly, would be partnering through prayer. In my quarterly newsletters, I send out prayer points at the end, but if you would like more regular prayer updates, then I have a private WhatsApp group that I send prayer requests through between the newsletters. If you would be keen to receive either of these things or know more about them, then please just send me a message!

Secondly, you can partner through encouragement and accountability. I am keen to share life with my partners and I welcome a spiritual accountability as well, so please let me know if this is something you would like to do, and we can arrange how best to go about it personally.

Lastly, I would like for you to consider partnering with me financially as I continue to work full-time with the Navigators. If you’d like to become a financial partner with me click here.
