Within the Clark family, Róis saw herself as the wild child and her brother (the only young Christian she knew) as the goodie two-shoes. Yet, by the end of uni, she felt a lonely longing for more.

‘What changed my perception of God,’ she says, ‘was seeing a change in my brother, as people got alongside him.’

Róis wasn’t ready to go to church or ask questions but, over time, as her brother patiently drew alongside her, she was drawn to God and his people.

As you gather with family or friends, ask God to fill you with his grace and patience, especially for that person you struggle to connect with, so that you can reflect how God sees them.
