Through showing people that they are loved by Jesus Christ I want people to understand the purpose He can give their lives. During my time at university I felt lonely and unknown and I feel Jesus’ calling on my life is to show people they are known and loved and help them to show others this is true for their lives. I also show great passion for young men as my own experience is that men can struggle to open up and connect with people so I want to be persistent in meeting with them and loving them. I believe that the more time you spend with someone the more you get to know and understand them. I seek to find out how Jesus discipled people so that I may do the same. I know that God is at work in my life and has already transformed it in so many ways but I am prepared for Him to do so much more work in my heart. I am a firm believer that teaching and discipling one another will lead to growth in faith and knowledge and love of our God. I want to get alongside students and show them that they can also do this in their own lives with both their Christian and non-Christian friends. I am excited to be sharing this message with people and although I can occasionally struggle with my confidence and can often end up being awkward in conversation, I know that God will use me and my trust in Him for the good of His will. As Jesus prays in Luke “By your will, not Mine”
