“Students with vision and a heart for others has more potential to take the gospel further than I can ever do as a gospel worker. I am thrilled by this to mobilise more students into God’s rescue plan.”

More about my work
I became a Christian in my first year at university, shortly afterwards I met the Navigators. Little did I know this would change the course of my life; I was hooked by the vision of the navigators and their heart for people. Feng the nav staff encouraged me to pray through God’s promises and while doing I was struck by God’s promise in Isaiah 49:6 (God) says “It is too small a thing for you to be my servant (an engineer) to (build things) restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.” After finishing my engineering degree, I thought I was going to be a combustion engine specialist, but God said that was too small a thing, He would rather have me go to the ends of the earth with His gospel. Driven by God’s love and mission to redeem the whole person, I walk alongside others; students, young professional, neighbours etc for gospel impact. Helping everyone experience God’s grace and love individually or in a community.
University offers a rich environment, filled with students searching for meaning and hope, this provides good opportunities to invest in others for God’s kingdom. Student ministry has been at the heart of the gospel movement. It lays the foundation for faith to grow across industries, communities, and families. I am excited about coming alongside students at the university of Birmingham and young professionals, because I believe they are key to the gospel reaching the ends of the earth.
